CREATIVE PAINTING, DRAWING, MIXED-MEDIA, COLLABORATION ART & MORE!
This is a week long, full day Art Camp for Young Artists to explore multiple art mediums and find a creative passion! Your child will learn a variety of artistic techniques combined with the freedom to authentically express themselves through art. Artistic techniques explored in our camp include: painting on canvas, art inspired by famous artists, drawing, sculpture, mixed media and more! Our small-sized kids art camp averages one art instructor to eight children, so your child will receive maximum attention and guidance.
Art Camp is from 9am to 4pm. Lunch will be at Noon every day. Taking a break from the studio, we will go to Milly’s Pantry for our Lunch hour. Bring a Brown Bag Lunch or Add the Lunch Package for $35 (see lunch add-on below). During the lunch hour we will walk Main Street to stretch our legs and enjoy some fresh air, weather dependent. In addition, you are more than welcome to pack your child a snack and a drink.
Add a provided lunch from Milly’s Pantry $35 for the week: Milly’s will provide a lunch menu that changes daily to include a fruit, veggie and protein, includes milk or juice. A total of 5 lunches included.
Add early drop off/late pickup $25 for the week: early drop off begins at 8:30am. Late pickup goes to 5pm. During this time, children have access to the Open Studio supplies.
Our daily schedule includes:
Warm up Art Exploration – a 15 minute art challenge to get our creative minds going. A sketch book will be provided to each child on the first day to use and keep!
Art Medium Technique – a different art medium will be explored each day, time to learn, time to practice and time to complete a composed piece of art.
Famous Artist – each day we will learn about a different Artist and then explore art inspired by the artist’s work.
Collaboration Art – a fun and engaging art activity where the whole class gets up, out of their seats, and together contributes to an art project. These completed projects will be displayed is various locations in the community after the Art Camp Week is complete. Information will be provided at the close of the Art Camp.
End of Day Free Art – 30 mins to explore, create and express themselves in any medium of their choice.
On Friday, to close the camp week out, the Children will have an art show from 4pm to 5pm to celebrate and show off their work. Refreshments will be provided. We invite you and the whole family to attend!
This is recommended for ages 7-15. Before the start of the class, we will email you a registration form to complete. This will include a contact for emergencies, food allergies, medical information and pick-up person information. All art supplies are included in the price. Students receive a sketch book on the first day of camp to draw in all week long and that is theirs to keep. Students take home all of their creations at the end of the week.
We are able to offer sibling discounts, please call or email to register for sibling signups. We are offering this camp once in July and once in August. We are limiting the registrations to 8 children per week. Please register early, we anticipate both weeks to fill up!
